As Leonardo da Vinci put it, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". These words hold true as the main approach to this project; and being being simple isn't banal, it's elegant. Attaining simplicity yet achieving depth in a home interior is not always that simple. It does not mean a lack of complexity, but merely that, presented in a simple way it allows us to focus on what is necessary. In this case in the main living space, it is the TV panel, given a luxurious finish and instead of a simple painted wall background, we opted for muted grey wall wash panels. This makes the TV panel subtly reveals itself as the main feature. The timber throughout the design serves to balance the design and exudes warmth. The same approach is reflected in the bedroom though with a tad more muted timber finish to give it a more calming atmosphere to put the day behind. An additional screen in brushed finish gives that extra luxe touch and gives privacy to the changing area.
