Given the strong architectural statement of this property, both the client and the designers wanted a interior design approach that compliments the outside and the inside all together. The result is a defused earthly tone against an off-white canvas giving the new property a very strong sense of security and home.
The outdoor deck, the dining table, the marble wall where the TV sits and the interior washed matte floor tiles are all carefully curated and matched to achieve the design intention. A certain few elements at specific angles were intentionally blown up in scale to bring a sense of grandeur such as the ceiling feature made with modest timber strips in natural matte varnish.
Though down to earth, the Dry Kitchen was given a quality quartz counter top by Silestone in matte finish so it has the same design language throughout.
The bedrooms, with their original dark varnish timber floor are designed for the occupants to wind down through the darker but still modern matte colours lit only by hidden lights and quirky little hanging pendant lights.
